Sweet Escape to South Korea - Pre Departure.

Assalamualaikum.

Syukur Alhamdulillah diberi kesempatan untuk update blog hari ini. Dah lama jugak saya peram al-kisah backpack trip saya ke Korea with my BFF. 

Lama dah mengidam, dream on nak pergi Korea, sejak budak-budak sekolah lagi, sedari layan drama Winter Sonata.. cewahh..asyik dream on dream on, tapi tak dapat-dapat.

Then, bila start kerja, ada gaji and duit sendiri, saya pun reward la diri saya. Jadi, ke korea la kita. Alhamdulillah.

We went to Korea on 4th Sept until 8th 2014 in which that time almost end of summer. Suam suam suku nak masuk Autumn. Kalau la anjak sikit tarikh departure, mesti dapat merasa autumn kat Korea. But that's ok, rezeki kita dapat time tu. Alhamdulillah. It was fabulous trip and yeah, I can say HECTIC. 5 days to cover Busan and Seoul. As this is budget trip, so faham-faham sajalah.. Trip redah kasi pecah orang kata..

Ok. Let's get started. 

Entry kali ini saya nak share pasal our pre-departure to Busan. We booked our tickets on 15 March 2014 at RM 697.00 (return), KL-BUSAN-KL, without luggage. Murah ke idak? Sebenarnya ada lagi murah.

Lebih kurang sebulan ke dua bulan sebelum tu, saya ada check ticket lagi murah which at RM 500+ kot. Tapi time tu I was indecisive so terlepas la yang murah itu. Well, namanya bukan rezeki kita. 

Actually, selepas dah pergi and balik, saya rasa berbaloi if beli ticket KL-Busan or Seoul and then beli Busan or Seoul to KL. Ceritanya, lebih kurang je. Masa beli tu kononnya nak jimat sebab we choose to travel from Busan-Seoul by train but ended up it cost us the same, and probably more than that. Ada la sikit penyesalan tapi is OK. Dah itu rezeki kita yang ditetapkan. 

So, my advise, beli ticket KL-Busan, then travel to Seoul by train, balik KL from Seoul or vice versa. Save time and energy. 

Masa booking ticket with AirAsia, belum memerlukan no. passport, nanti masa nak online check-in and nak print boarding pass baru masuk no. passport. Make sure passport ada 6 bulan sebelum expire date. Kalau tak, menangis dekat depan gate perlepasan tu.

Ticket itinerary confirmed then, kita pun study lah pasal Korea. Where to go, where to stay, what to do, what to, what ta semua melalui bacaan. Google je, berderet keluar blog pasal travelling to Korea. Ramai orang Malaysia dah pergi, so tak susah nak dapatkan information. You can also find other tourists itinerary online. Easy like nut. Ini trip single saya dan BFF saya, cik Atika. Yes, berdua kami ke Korea. #titatiakekorea (pegi cari kt IG) hehe.

Saya pun mula membuat itinerary dalam excel sheet and collect as much information from all the sources I found online. 

Perkara pertama ialah cek Guesthouse. My friend Atika was the one who responsible to book our stay in Korea. We used Agoda by the way. If you wish to visit Korea with family, boleh check AirBNB.com. Lagi besttttt. More like homestay lah. Ada peluang tinggal serumah dengan orang tempatan. Untung-untung dapat yang best, boleh jadi kawan. Since, ini trip berdua, kami choose stay dorm sahaja. Jimat. So, before kami booked guesthouse, saya list down potential one and list kan details each of it as per below.... Senang nanti nak decide.

Lebih kurang few weeks sebelum pergi, we are done with guesthouse booking. Booking and terus bayar. 2 malam di Gom Guesthouse, Seoul and 2 malam di Suk Bak Guesthouse, Busan.

Tips penting untuk memilih guesthouse, make sure ianya terletak dekat heart of the city and dekat dengan subway. Jimat masa and tenaga. Lagi satu, sila workout before nak pergi, kalau tak nanti pancit.. Serious, banyaknya tangga and banyaknya guna kaki. Kaki sangat berharga.

Memandangkan kami beli ticket flight dari KL ke Busan dan travel ke Seoul pada hari yang sama arrive Busan, saya kenalah purchase KTX ticket iaitu kereta api laju ke Seoul secara online. Boleh pergi ke website KORAIL. Pembelian harus menggunakan card credit, and then claim di station untuk actual tickets. Harga seperti di atas.Boleh juga beli on time tapi kemungkinan ticket habis agak tinggi especially during public holiday and weekend. Ada sumber mengatakan beli direct lebih murah. So, on your call babehh!

Actually banyak tempat menarik nak pergi, tinggal sebulan pun rasanya tak cukup kot nak cover semua. Rural area kat Korea sangat cantik. Serius. Tak percaya, follow Instagram kto_losangeles. Geram!! Saya ni pencinta alam, suka dengan scenery yang tenang dan mendamaikan. I prefer sightseeing rather than shopping. Trip kami ni just pergi tempat yang easy access and biasa orang pergi. Al maklum saja lah, trip budget. InsyaAllah, ada rezeki, kita repeat. 

Risau, takut sesat? Tak ada la risau sangat sebab kami berdua masing-masing tahu Korea adalah negara maju dengan pengangkutan awam yang cekap memudahkan kerja kita as a pelancong. Tambah pula, orang tempatan yang sangat handful and helpful. Sesat tu pasti berlaku, so calm down and ringankan mulut bertanya. Bila lagi kan, masa muda nilah nak pergi tempat orang. Challenges yourself, go out and explore!

Oh! by the way, I love to watch Korean dramas and variety show but that doesn't make me a K-poppers. No No.. Hell No!
